The stray starving cat is named Viola because she came into my life five minutes before Sarah's viola lesson.

- My whole life as a child revolved around making things. During my adult life I have continued as a maker of things, a teacher of kids, and as a practicing-performing musician. I am also a watcher of birds, bees, clouds, and in a catlike fashion, anything that moves.
