My whole life as a child revolved around making things. During my adult life I have continued as a maker of things, a teacher of kids, and as a practicing-performing musician. I am also a watcher of birds, bees, clouds, and in a catlike fashion, anything that moves.
The holes in the violin corners, the neck block, and the end block: Other than reducing mass, do these help (or was the idea for these to help) prevent internal damping? I really like the idea. What was your thinking?
