My whole life as a child revolved around making things. During my adult life I have continued as a maker of things, a teacher of kids, and as a practicing-performing musician. I am also a watcher of birds, bees, clouds, and in a catlike fashion, anything that moves.

The idea for a dome in the landscape came from the interior space of the cello and was confirmed by Aaron Baca, cellist for whom the instrument is being created. Aaron spent some time in Florence where Brunelleschi's famous dome was erected.
